I have since upgraded to Paint Shop Pro Photo X2 and I have to admit, I am loving it. There were definitely enough improvements to make it worth the upgrade price, especially if you edit a lot of photographs.

You are right, thank you very much for your time and patience.
I am using PSP X, I've just gotten comfortable working with it, and hear there isn't much difference with the latest version.

If you are using more colors, even though the dimensions are the same, you will see the overall size of the file being a bit larger. As long as they are well compressed (without losing visible quality) I would not worry too much. Which version of Paint Shop Pro are you using?

Thanks for the fast reply.

I am re-doing a forum with my own colors and images, what I've found to be one of my problems is that I am using more colors than the original images have, so even at the same size, and flattening the layers, I can never get my image to be the same size as the original image, and just wanted to know if there was a save way to compress without losing quality but the quantity.

Thanks again
