Just Getting Started
For nearly two years now, I have been teaching online classes for search engine optimization and marketing. My first love though, is photography. When I have a camera in my hands, everything else ceases to exist.
I actually started teaching just one small search engine optimization class. As the class began to grow, it became apparent that there was also a serious need for help with marketing topics. We realized rapidly that keeping the topics organized by opening an additional group for the marketing training would be much easier.
Over time we became aware of several additional needs and challenges our members were facing. Some members needed help with certain skills such as HTML, while others needed help with general tech issues or small business start-up help. Some topics did best as structured classrooms, while others were more beneficial to members as interactive discussion groups. We have continued to open groups and training classes as needed to meet our members needs.
Most recently we added the Online Photography Magazine, an interactive discussion group for more various photography and graphics topics. This of course led to me deciding to start another blog so we would have a place to keep our most frequently asked questions and answers, along with tutorials and helpful resources.
